Browser storage and cookies.
Root & Ruler uses browser local storage for features you choose to save. It does not currently load advertising or analytics scripts or set cookies for those purposes.
Local storage we use
Saved bed plans, crop favorites, seasonal checklist progress, and garden-log entries use named local-storage records. They provide the feature you requested, remain on the device, and are not read by a Root & Ruler backend.
Cookies we do not currently set
Root & Ruler does not activate advertising, audience measurement, personalization, or cross-site tracking scripts. Cloudflare may use strictly necessary security or traffic-delivery technology as described in its policies.
What must happen before monetization
Before non-essential storage is enabled, the deployed site must add a current consent solution, make rejecting as easy as accepting, block non-essential storage before the user’s choice where required, and provide a permanent way to change that choice. Google advertising in the EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland requires a Google-certified CMP integrated with the applicable IAB TCF version.
Control
Use the Privacy Choices control on the privacy page to remove Root & Ruler workbench data, or use your browser settings to clear storage for the site.
